I recently started drinking plant-based protein shakes to help me to curb my appetite. Once I heard about the shakes, I started to do some research. When I started reading, I found out that you don't always have to eat meat to get protein. Plant-based proteins are also high in fiber, low in cholesterol and tend to have less calories, hence the reason they can help you loose weight.
You will also be surprised at what foods are high in protein. Of course protein like, other nutrients is important for maintaining good health, so it is very important in our diet. I personally drink the shakes because its easier to just mix the shake, but you can also eat the foods on this list to get the same results.
