10 Foods That Are Good For Your Skin

Let's face it, many of us are getting older and it's beginning to show on our skin. There are many things we can do to have healthier looking skin like a daily skin care regimen, but many of us don't realize that what we eat can play a large part in keeping our skin healthy. Here is a list of foods we can eat, that are not only healthy for us on the inside, but also on the outside.

  1. Broccoli
  2. Dark Chocolate
  3. Food high in Omega-3 Fatty acids (fish)
  4. Walnuts
  5. Tomatoes
  6. Watermelon
  7. Eggs
  8. Olive oil
  9. Peppers
  10. Greek Yogurt

The foods are good for your skin for multiple reasons. Some contain vitamins A, B, C or K, which are all good for your skin. Others are high in protein, which is a building block for your collagen. Omega-3 fatty acids are also a building block for collagen, which helps with skins elasticity.

Dark chocolate is also good for firming the skin. Watermelon is good for internal and external hydration. As I always say, "Moisturizing your skin is very important to keep it looking younger longer," but what you eat is also very important for the same reason.
