I have become quite interested in plant-based protein. Since I have started using a powder, I have been doing research to find the many benefits. The more I find, the more I have been drinking my plant-based protein shakes. As I get older, I realize that I can't eat the way I used to eat because of the health consequences.

In order to live a healthier lifestyle, I had to make some changes. I decided to eat more fruits and vegetables and less meats.When I do eat meats I look for leaner meats. Here are 5 benefits of eating plant-based proteins.

Of course there are other benefits. If you are interested in loosing weight and lowering your cholesterol, then these are just a few of the benefits. There are studies that show that people who eat more plant-based proteins, are healthier and tend to have lower body weight.
