Since starting my weight loss journey, I have been successful with losing weight but my tummy still seems to stay the same. Which is why I didn't think that I was really losing weight, because I didn't see any changes in the mirror. The frustration of my belly fat not going anywhere, prompted me to do some research. I decided to look for foods that can help eliminate belly fat.



Many of the foods on the list, were also on my other lists for fighting inflammation, high sources of protein and helping to boost your metabolism and energy. If you're ready to start busting belly fat, then here is a list of 10 foods that can help.


  1. Avocados - They prevent blood sugar spikes that cause the body to store fat.
  2. Bananas - The potassium limits belly sodium that causes inflammation.
  3. Greek Yogurt - The good bacteria in yogurt prevents bloating.
  4. Green Tea - The ECGC help to burn fat cells.
  5. Whole Grains - They help to reduce Insulin Resistance and shrink fat cells.
  6. Eggs - They're high in protein which help to build muscle, which helps to eliminate fat cells. 
  7. Plums - The flavonoids help reduce belly fat and block fat.
  8. Coconut oil - The tryglycerides help to stop the body from storing fats.
  9. Cinnamon - Helps to reduce Insulin Resistance and prevents sugar from being stored as fat.
