5 Ways To Get Rid Of Those Pesky Dark Under Eye Circles
Written by: Crystal Allen-Foster
When you get to my age, there are maybe a few things that start to change. Many of us are dealing with showing early signs of aging. One of those signs of aging is dark circles under the eyes. Of course you can always use makeup to hide them, but I just prefer to get rid of them.
Here are 5 things that you can do at home:
1. Elevate your head when you sleep. If you're one who sleeps on your back, you can elevate you head with an extra pillow. This stops fluids from pooling under your eyes.
2. You can also use tea bags, preferably with caffeine. Soak them in warm water and then put them in the refrigerator for a few minutes, before placing them on your eyes.
3. You can also use moisturizers that contain caffeine, Vitamin E or Hyaluronic Acid.
4. Place Cucumbers in the refrigerator for 30 minute, and then place on your eyes for 10 minutes. This will also relieve puffiness and brighten the skin.
5. Mix equal parts of Almond oil and Vitamin E oil, then gently massage into the skin under the eye.
There are other methods, but I chose the 5 above, because they use every day items you can find around the house. If you're looking for a way to look younger fast, this is one of them. Of course it would be silly to work on your dark under eye circles, and not maintain your skin. Moisturizing your skin along with under your eyes, will keep you looking younger longer.
